‘Drake & Josh’ fame Drake Bell charged of child endangerment
Drake Bell has been charged to attempted endangering children and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.
Drake Bell best known for his starring roles on Nickelodeon’s ‘Drake & Josh’ has landed into trouble after he has been charged with attempted endangering children and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.
According to a report in FOX 8 News, Drake Bell had allegedly engaged in an inappropriate chat with the alleged victim whom he had met online and who attended his 2017 concert in Ohio when she was 15. The alleged incident happened on December 1, 2017.
On Thursday, Drake pleaded not guilty in a Cleveland courtroom to a felony charge of attempted endangering children and a misdemeanor charge of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles. Bell’s attorney Ian Friedman said on Friday: “All facts will be revealed in a courtroom.”
The Cleveland Police also stated that Bell had sent the minor inappropriate messages on social media for months leading up to the concert and he was 31 at the time of the alleged incident. Bell was freed on a $2,500 personal bond and was ordered to provide a DNA sample. Later, he agreed to have no contact with the alleged victim in the case with a pretrial hearing scheduled for June 23.
Bell, also known as Jared Campana, is an American actor, singer, songwriter, and musician.
