Kavi Kumar Azad, who essayed the role of Dr Hansraj Hathi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has died after a prolonged illness. He was among the favourite actors liked by millions of television buffs all across the nation.
According to the initial report, the much loved actor was unwell for last three days and slipped into a coma last night, doctors said. He was admitted in Wokhardt Hospital at Mira Road in Mumbai and was under doctor’s supervision. He breathed his last an hour ago.

Though not much of the disease has been revealed yet, but it is suspected that he might have suffered from a heart attack or his weight might have been issue for his sudden demise. However, he was doing fine till a week ago. The shoot of the show at Film City has been cancelled after the team learnt of this shocking news. Entire crew is in shock and most of theme have rushed to the hospital.
Not only the crew of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is in shock, but the television industry too are speechless. Crew members have expressed their condolences after the news of sudden demise of their beloved friend. May his soul rest in peace.
