Dostana 2: Kartik Aaryan to be replaced from Karan Johar’s film? 

Kartik Aaryan is among the list of busiest actors in Bollywood currently. He was last seen in Love Aaj Kal alongside Sara Ali Khan. Off late he has been gearing up for the release of Dhamaka. For a while now he has been creating buzz for collaborating with Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya Lalwani for Dostana 2, which is being bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Production. Now according to the latest reports, the actor has been replaced because of creative differences and others issues.

Kartik Aaryan is said to have replaced by Dharma Productions. According to the latest report by Bollywood Bubble, a source revealed to them that the production house decided to replace him because of lack of co-operation from the actor’s side and his agency. The star’s team was apparently not giving the shooting dates. And later his agency is said to have put forward the issue about creative differences in the script.

“Dharma has decided to replace Kartik Aaryan in Dostana 2 after a lot of discussions. The production house had been asking his agency for his dates for the shoots but there was no clear coordination on that end for months. After shooting for 20 days earlier, and a year and a half of sitting on with the original script, Kartik’s team is now claiming there have been creative differences with regards to the script. The production has hence decided to not put up with the chaos anymore and get another star to step in place of Kartik. While the actor has not been locked, the right replacement is being scouted,” informed the source to the portal.

Another source informed Bubble that the Dostana production crew faced a lot of troubles ever since they welcomed him on board. Janhvi Kapoor was about to sign for Mr. Lele opposite Vicky Kaushal. During the same time, Kartik was keen on shooting for Dostana 2 on the dates which Janhvi was supposed to give for Mr. Lele shoots. The source stated that all the tantrums from Kartik’s side began after he broke up with Janhvi. While trying to accommodate this, Janhvi lost out on Mr. Lele, the film which Kartik was also trying to get his hands on.

Kartik Aaryan didn’t officially comment anything on being replaced from Dostana 2.
