United States President Donald Trump has been slammed by his estranged niece Mary Trump in her book. The US President’s niece Mary Trump has leveled scathing criticism of the President, accusing him of being a lying narcissist who was shaped by his domineering father.
Mary Trump is the daughter of Donald Trump’s elder brother Fred Trump Jr, who died in 1981 from complications related to alcoholism.
According to the Washington Post, Mary Trump’s book ‘Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man’ reveals that Donald Trump’s father created a toxic family dynamic. Mary a clinical psychologist, added that she could “no longer remain silent” following the past three years of his presidency.
She wrote, “For Donald, lying was primarily a mode of self-aggrandizement meant to convince other people he was better than he actually was. He needs lies to convince himself, too. The past six months of the coronavirus pandemic, have shown her uncle to be a “petty, pathetic little man — ignorant, incapable, out of his depth, and lost in his own delusional spin.”
According to the book, Donald embraced cheating as a way of life. The US leader also paid someone else to take the SAT pre-collegiate exam, helping him get into the University of Pennsylvania’s prestigious Wharton business school.
The memoir is due out on July 14 amid a legal battle to stop its publication. It is already a best-seller on Amazon. The White House describes Mary Trump’s memoirs as “a book of falsehoods.”
The president’s younger brother Robert Trump tried to block publication. But a New York judge ruled that Simon & Schuster is allowed to release the memoir.
