Donald Trump forgets to mention Hindus in Diwali tweet brutally trolled on Twitter. In his Diwali Tweet, Donald Trump gets badly trolled for missing hindus.

United States of America President Donald Trump on Tuesday celebrated the festival of light, Diwali in White House. However, Trump once again managed to generate controversy after he forgot to greet Hindus, in his Diwali wishing tweet.

In fact, it took three attempt to finally get his Diwali tweet right – a fact that did not go unnoticed by many netizens, who promptly trolled the President for yet another faux pas.

Initially, the official Twitter account of President Trump posted a tweet that read, “Today, we gathered for Diwali, a holiday observed by Buddhists, Sikhs, and Jains throughout the United States & around the world.”

Several Twitter users were quick to point out that Trump had obviously missed wishing Hindus in the tweet, the post was deleted and a fresh tweet was put up instead. However, in a comedy of errors, the second post tweeted by President Trump also omitted the mention of Hindus.

He called the festival of light as ‘a holiday observed by Buddhists, Sikhs, and Jains’, and did not mention Hindus. The tweet also included a link that was broken.

Finally, President Trump posted a third tweet in which he mentioned that he was honoured to host a celebration of Diwali, a “Hindu festival of Lights.” He added in his tweet, “Very, very special people.”

It was in his third and final tweet that he remembered to mention Hindus.
