The wedding season in TV industry does not seem to end at anytime soon. Yes, yet another popular TV actress Divya Bhatnagar, who is popularly known for Hindi TV shows including ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and ‘Udaan’, has tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Gagan aka Gabru.
According to reports, Divvya Bhatnagaer and Gagan have been in the relationship since last five years. The much in love couple got engaged in 2015 and now exchanged their wedding vows in one of Mumbai’s Gurudwara.
Speaking about her intimated wedding ceremony to The Times of India, Divya said that they wanted a simple wedding. Thus, only a few friends were invited for the big day. She revealed that they performed all the as per the traditions such as mehendi, haldi and the chooda ceremony.
There journey from being in a relationship for more than 5-years to getting married has not been an easy for them as they belong to different cast. The actress revealed that there wedding ceremony wasn’t attended by either of their families as they have been against their relationship.
Speaking about the same, the actress further told TOI that, “I was extremely emotional, as neither of our families could be present at our wedding. I had always dreamed of a big fat shaadi, but we had to opt for a simple ceremony, as our families were not in approval of our marriage.”
While Divya is surely a well known name in TV industry while Gangan also belongs to the industry and works for production houses. He has been associated with various reality shows and is also a part of artiste management.
