Disney has released the trailer of the live-action remake of Mulan and it is packed with some hi-end action and all things empowering. The remake of the 1998 animated movie, Mulan stars Liu Yifei in the titular role. It is all about a young Chinese woman who disguises herself as a man to fight in the Imperial Army in her father’s place. As her ailing father couldn’t join the army.

The trailer opens with Mulan being told “Your job is to bring honor to the family” as she’s being dressed in elaborate clothing and makeup. We also see her go into battle disguised as a man and fighting the witch, who tells her “When they find out who you are, they will show you no mercy.”
Fans get a better look at the Mulan’s villain, a mysterious witch named Xian Lang, portrayed by Gong Li. The trailer is a visual treat.
Disney had earlier shared the official poster for the film, which shows Mulan dressed in red, wielding a sword.

Mulan also features Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Gong Li, and Jet Li. It is coming to theaters on March 27, 2020.
