Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's 'Dayaben' aka Disha Vakani will be soon makig her comeback in the show
Here’s a piece of good news for all the ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ fans. Yes, Disha Vakani, who essayed the character of Dayaben in the show, is likely to make a comeback after more than one and a half years long break. The news of Disha Vakani’s returning to the show is confirmed by the none other than the producer of the show, Asit Kumar Modi.

As per The Times Of India, Asit Kumarr said, “We are positive that Disha will make a comeback on the show as Daya. It might take a month’s time. Time and again, we have been asking her to be back on the show. However, she wasn’t ready and told us, ‘Meri beti abhi chhoti hai, how can I leave her alone?”
“Disha and the production house never had any negative conversations in the past. We were always insisting on having her back on the show. We have tried to push the story for two years without Dayaben, but we definitely want her back on the show,” he added.
Asit Kumar Modi had told Aaj Tak’s Saas Bahu Betiyaan that it is possible that Disha might return to the show. He also said that he is auditioning other seasoned actors also for the role.
A recent report in mid-day states that Disha is ready to start shooting for TMKOC and she recently contacted the show’s production house, Neela Tele Films, As, Asit Modi is currently vacationing in Italy, Disha is currently waiting for Asit Kumar Modi to come back from his trip.
Since earlier this year, there have been speculations about Disha quitting the show but she was on maternity leave and wanted to focus on her newborn.
