Did You Notice ‘Dil Bechara’ Fame Sanjana Sanghi In ‘Hindi Medium’ And ‘Rockstar’ ? 

Sanjana Sanghi is all geared up to release her film, ‘Dil Bechara’ which would mark the last film of late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. The film will be released on OTT Platform. The actress will be seen portraying the lead, Kizie in the upcoming movie, while Sushant would be as Manny. Did you know that she had appeared in hit movies such as ‘Rockstar’, ‘Furkrey Returns’ and ‘Hindi Medium’?

Sanjana’s acting talent was discovered by Mukesh Chhabra, at the age of 13 when she was performing in her school. The actress in her recent Instagram post reveals, how the casting director had asked her to audition for the movie-‘Rocktar’. She appeared in the film as Ranbir’s onscreen sister. However, she couldn’t make it big for years.

In the caption of her post she stated, “Forever grateful for being such a small part of such a beautiful story. I was a 3rd year student in Delhi University when I shot for Hindi Medium, and the thought of just expanding my horizons as a performer by being around such inspirational artists meant the world to me, teaching me that no part as an actor is too big or small. I’m glad I made time away from the academic pressure of writing my thesis in the final year of college, and went ahead and did this. Saved myself from a huge regret I’d have carried with myself forever.” In Irrfan Khan starrer ‘Hindi Medium’, she was seen portraying the role of a young Saba Qamar.

The actress has surely come a long way in acting career. Interesting, she will be marking her Bollywood debut as a leading lady in the film with the directorial of Mukesh Chhabra (who was the one to discover her).

Talking about ‘Dil Bechara’, the upcoming film is an adaption of book, ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ by John Green. The film revolves around the life of a girl, who suffers from cancer, Kizie (Sanjana) and Manny (Sushant), the boy who falls in love with her girl. The film is set in the backdrop of college love story.
