Diana Penty to make her Malayalam debut with Dulquer Salmaan

Diana Penty made her debut in 2012 with the romantic comedy film ‘Cocktail’ opposite Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan. Now, the actress is all set to make her debut in the Malayalam film industry with Dulquer Salmaan. Yes, you read that right! The announcement was made by the lady himself on her social media handle.

Sharing the good news, Diana took to her social media and shared a picture with Dulquer, in the photo, the two are standing alongside each other holding a clapboard and she captioned the post as, “Cheers to new beginnings! 🥂Super excited to join @dulQuer, #RosshanAndrrews and the whole crew on this new journey – my first Malayalam film! Looking forward to the ride 🎬☺️”

Dulquer also extended a warm welcome to the actress and retweeted her post on Twitter, “As are we to have you on board !!! 🤗🤗👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 (sic),” he wrote.

However, the makers of the film haven’t revealed anything about the title and it will be bankrolled by Wayfarer Films and directed by Rosshan Andrrews.

On the work front, Diana Penty was last seen in a romantic music video, ‘Challon Ke Nishaan’, with Sidharth Malhotra. Currently, she is waiting for the release of her film, ‘Shiddat- Journey Beyond Love.’It also stars Sunny Kaushal, Radhika Madan, Mohit Raina and it will be helmed by Kunal Deshmukh.
