Dia Mirza slams Akshay Kumar for no women in PM meet
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met a delegation of Bollywood celebrities to discuss the issues faced by the entertainment industry. Reportedly stars like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Ritesh Sidhwani, Karan Johar, Rakesh Roshan, Ronnie Screwwala, Prasoon Joshi attended the meeting.

The meet received flak on Twitter as it did not have a single woman. A number of activists and filmmakers such as Alankrita Srivastava, Saumya Baijjal and many others noted that it was 2018 and asking, “Where are the women?”
Today actress Dia Mirza too took to social media and asked Akshay Kumar why no woman was a part of the meet. She tweeted,

Actress Sandhya Mrudal too retweeted Akshay’s post and wrote, “Great. We women have no issues to discuss. Obviously.”
