One of the vulnerable variants of Coronavirus, the Delta plus variant is the new mutant version of the Delta strain. The variant has been found in three to four states in India and health officials believe that it is potential enough to trigger the third wave in the nation. States such as Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh reported having this new variant.

It is still a variant of interest: Government sources.”
