Delhi Police Arrest Pakistani Terrorist From Laxmi Nagar, Ak 47, Hand Grenades Recovered
Delhi police arrested a Pakistani terrorist from Laxmi Nagar. Their prompt action has averted a major terror attack in the capital city. The man identified a Mohammad Asraf aka Ali was living with a fake identity of an Indian citizen. He is from Pakistan’s Punjab province.
The Delhi police also recovered one AK-47 assault rifle with one extra magazine and 60 rounds. One hand grenade, 2 sophisticated pistols with 50 rounds from him. They are at present conducting a search at his present address in Laxmi Park.
ANI wrote, “Delhi Police Special Cell arrests a terrorist of Pakistani nationality from Ramesh Park, Laxmi Nagar. He was living with a fake ID of an Indian national. One AK-47 assault rifle with one extra magazine and 60 rounds. also one hand grenade, 2 sophisticated pistols with 50 rounds seized.”
Relevant provisions of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Explosive Act, Arms Act & other provisions being invoked against the man, identified as Mohd Asraf, a resident of Pakistan’s Punjab. A search has been conducted at his present address at Ramesh Park, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi.

Relevant provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Explosive Act, Arms Act are being invoked against him.
The arrest comes days after Delhi’s Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana held a meeting with top officials. He discussed anti-terror measures. This is in the wake of the input of a terrorist attack in the national capital during the festive season. They also discussed how to prevent terrorists from taking support of locals
