Delhi: Former BSP lawmaker’s son brandishes gun; caught on camera
In a shocking video which has gone viral, Ashish Pandey, son of former Bahujan Samaj Party’s (BSP) lawmaker was seen brandishing his gun while threatening and abusing others outside a five-star hotel in South Delhi on October 14.
According to a report published in NEWSD, a man identified as Ashish Pandey was seen flaunting his gun outside a five-star hotel in South Delhi while he and accompanied females got into an argument with other visitors over the parking issue.
“In the viral video of the incident, a man in a black T-shirt and pink trousers, with a gun in his hand, can be seen arguing with a couple reportedly over a car parking issue. His woman friend and a security guard can be seen intervening to calm him down. The video ends with the man being taken to the side by the hotel staff as he continues to argue with the couple,” the NEWSD reported.
However, NDTV reported that in the 10-second clip shot on a mobile phone, “Ashish Pandey has a gun in his hands as he argues with a woman and threatens her, allegedly after she objected to him walking into the women’s washroom. Pandey’s woman friend and a security guard are seen trying to hold him back and calm him down. The video ends with Pandey being dragged away by the hotel staff as he continues to shout expletives and threats.”
After watching the video, the Delhi police have registered the case under the Arms Act and says Pandey will be arrested soon.
