Delhi court will decide upon ED’s charge sheet against Karti Chidambaram on July 31
The Delhi Patiala House Court has fixed July 31 as the date on when it will decide whether it will take cognizance of the charge sheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate in the Aircel Maxis Case.
The charge sheet was earlier delayed on Wednesday (July 4) due to the absence of the concerned judge.
Son of the former Finance minister P Chidambaram, Karti Chidambaram stands accused of money laundering in the Aircel-Maxis transaction, a part of the bigger 2G spectrum case.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the ED are investigating how Karti Chidambaram allegedly managed to get a clearance from the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) in the Aircel-Maxis deal when his father was the Union Finance Minister in 2006.
Karti was arrested on February 28 from Chennai airport and is currently out on an anticipatory bail.
