Delhi air hostess death: Viscera report confirms alcohol in Anissia Batra’s blood
Viscera report of the deceased Delhi air hostess Anissia Batra has pointed out that she was under the influence of alcohol when she allegedly committed suicide in July this year.
In its report, the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory has confirmed that 298mg/100ml quantity of alcohol was found in Batra’s blood sample.
However, the Crime Branch has stated that the findings of the report will make no difference in the investigation.
This year on July 13, the Delhi-based air hostess had allegedly jumped off the terrace of her house after a heated argument with her husband Mayank Singhvi.
Prior to her death, she had reportedly sent a message to her friend and family on WhatsApp, stating that she was allegedly locked up in a room by her husband. Anissia Batra had also asked her friend to inform the police about it. Subsequently, the police had arrested Batra’s husband.
Anissia’s family had alleged earlier that Mayank was alcoholic and she was beaten up by him on several occasions.
In the meantime, in Mumbai, mother for a five-year-old boy killed him by feeding rat poison. Rina Ayare (34) reportedly attempted to suicide on Monday by consuming poison and fed the same poison to her minor son, Harsh.
