DeepVeer is all set to become husband and wife in a traditional Konkani style on November 14, 2018 but the festivities have already begun with a sangeet and mehendi ceremony there. Harshdeep Kaur of ‘Kabira’ fame who was invited to perform at the sangeet ceremony shared the first glimpse from DeepVeer’s wedding location from Lake Como.
The singer took to her Instagram handle and shared a picture of herself posing with her husband Mankeet Singh, and captioned it saying, “What a beautiful day.”
She looked gorgeous in a mint green lehenga with silver embellishments and a turban on her head. Her picture raised the excitement level to a new high as fans expected a picture of Deepika and Ranveer to be out soon too, but to their dismay, Harshdeep deleted her picture from her Instagram account.
The reason behind the singer deleting the picture is the strict security guidelines where guests were asked to keep their phones aside and not click pictures of the bride and the groom.
It is being reported that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got engaged yesterday in Konkani style and also danced to their chartbusters. Ranveer, as usual, was over the moon and even sang a song for his lady love and also played the Dhol for her.
Today the couple will tie the knot in Konkani style and tomorrow it will be in North Indian style. On 18 November Mr and Mrs Bhavnani will fly back to the country and host two receptions for their family and friends in Mumbai and Bengaluru respectively.:
