The Narcotic Control Bureau is reportedly looking forward to summon more big celebs from Bollywood in drug nexus probe. The officials had grilled Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and few others in the drugs case which is related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. According to the latest reports, the officials have sent Deepika’s phone and 14 other devices to Gujarat for forensic testing.
Earlier there were reports that the NCB had seized Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Jaya Saha Karishma Prakash and few prominent people’s phones. A latest report by Times Of India suggests that the NCB team has now sent around 15 smartphones to Gandhinagar to seek help in extracting the data from these devices. These phones include the ones ‘voluntary surrendered’ by actresses Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor among others.
The daily also further quotes DFS (Directorate of Forensic Sciences), who confirms about the news mentioning that the agency has sought help in establishing a few facts that have emerged in drug nexus case. The officer informed, “The agency has sought all the data on the devices – which would include contact lists, messages, social media conversations, and media files. It is possible that the data might help the investigators in establishing a few facts or getting new details related to the interplay of the accused in the case.”
For the unversed, the Bombay High Court recently granted bails for prime accused, Rhea Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant. While Showik still remains behind the bars.
