Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are now officially husband and wife. The couple who has been in a relationship since six years, have tied the knot in a traditional Konkani-South Indian ceremony to the chant of ‘Har Har Mahadev’ and ‘Ab Yeh Vivah Sampann Hua’ that reportedly filled the air at Lake Como, Italy.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting to catch the first glimpse of the couple in their wedding attire.
After Ranveer Singh’s first look as a groom in a white and gold sherwani that has created a buzz on the social media, we now have a video posted by ANI which shows Deepika walking in a red and gold saree.
As per a Republic World report, the Konkani ceremony stretched for more than 5 hours and later, the guests were taken back to the luxurious CastaDiva resort from the wedding venue in large boats.
The newlyweds DeepVeer were taken back in a beautiful vintage boat (EURO 500,000 Riva Tritone). This news was revealed to the publication by the captain of the classic Italian vessel.

The wedding was held under the surveillance of tight security of a high-end three-level security system to ensure complete privacy. Small powerboats manned by security guards were deployed to guard the venue, guests were requested to not put up pictures on social media and the cameras on their phones were sealed.
Following the Konkani wedding, media reports suggest that the couple will be hitched in Sindhi style, on Thursday, November 15.
After the wedding, the couple will be back in the country on November 18 and will host grand receptions in Bengaluru and Mumbai on 21st November and 28th November respectively.
