DDCA appoints Virender Sehwag in members committee, Gautam Gambhir ‘Special Invitee’
Delhi and District Cricket Association appointed Former Indian opening batsman Virender Sehwag in the cricket committee on Wednesday. Another opening sensation from Delhi, Gautam Gambhir is said to be a special invitee for the DDCA. Aakash Chopra and Rahul Sanghvi are other cricketers who are part of the new committee.
“The Cricket Committee is authorised to form various Selection Committees as per the recommendations made by the Lodha Committee and the BCCI guidelines for the State Association and to give valuable guidance to the Association for the improvement of Cricket in Delhi,” the DDCA statement stated.

“I am pleased to share with you the constitution of Cricket Committee as per the recommendations made by the Lodha Committee and the BCCI guidelines for the State Associations,” DDCA President Rajat Sharma tweeted.

The cricket committee comprises of following former cricket players
i. Virender Sehwag – Former International Player
ii. Rahul Sanghvi – Former International Player
