Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of India’s longest-running sitcoms. The show has entertained us for over a decade and it continues so. When we say Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the first character that comes in our mind is Dayaben. However, in October 2017, Disha Vakani aka Dayaben left the show to focus on her family and new-born baby. Fans of the show were very dishearted that they won’t be able to hear the dialogue ‘hey maa, mataji’ ever again. Now, Shailesh Lodha aka Tarak Mehta has confirmed that Disha Vakani will make her come back as Dayaben in the show.

Recently, in an award function, Shailesh Lodha spoke about Dayaben’s comeback. He revealed that she will surely return and further added that “patience ka phal daya hota hai (patience pays off).”
Earlier, it was said that Disha Vakani has permanently left the show because of her differences with the makers. According to the media reports, Disha Vakani has been given a notice period of 30 days to return to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, post which it will be declared that she has left the show and will be replaced.
Meanwhile, in the show, it is shown that she has gone to stay at her mother’s house in Ahmedabad. Considering it is a popular sitcom, many viewers have demanded Disha’s return to the show.
