South superstar Rajinikanth will soon be seen in AR Murugadoss film ‘Darbar’. The director had been dreaming of directing the Thalaiva since long and finally, his dream has come true. The movie has Rajinikanth donning a cop’s avatar after a hiatus of 25 years on the big screen.
The makers had revealed the first poster of the film. It had a punchline that read, “You decide whether you want to be good, bad or worse.”
We now have some more updates on the film that has already gone on floor in Mumbai after a customary pooja. It seems that fans will get a double dose of Rajinikanth as he is set to play the role of a father and son in it.
Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar will be seen depicting the role of an antagonist in the film. The news was confirmed by the actor himself.
He said, “It is such a dream come true to have bagged this project in such little time. This year is looking very positive for me and Sanya (Sagar) has been such a great influence on my life professionally and personally.”
He also added that he’s excited about his maiden Tamil project and he just can’t wait to commence shooting with Rajinikanth sir and AR Murugadoss sir and create some magic.
‘Darbar’ also features Nayanthara, Niveda Thomas, Ravi Kishan, Kunal Khemu and Sourabh Shukla and will hit the theatres on Pongal 2020.
