Daniel Craig To Get Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Hollywood actor Daniel Craig will soon get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The British actor best known for his role as James Bond will be honoured on Wednesday, October 6. The 53-year-old will have his star unveiled on Hollywood Boulevard two days before his fifth and final Bond film No Time to Die debuts in theatres.

Craig’s star will be placed next to former 007 Roger Moore. He is the fourth Bond actor to receive the honour following Roger Moore, David Niven and Pierce Brosnan. His will be the 2,704th star on the Walk of Fame.

Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame said, “Daniel Craig is a British cultural icon, as is James Bond, the man he has portrayed in five 007 films. We are thrilled to place his terrazzo Walk of Fame star next to the star of another famed actor who also portrayed James Bond, Roger Moore. Fans will be thrilled when they see that their stars are appropriately located at 7007 Hollywood Boulevard.

The event will be attended by Rami Malek, who plays the villain Lyutsifer Safin in the upcoming ‘No Time to Die,’ He will speak at the Walk of Fame ceremony. Bond franchise producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli will also serve as guest speakers. The Walk of Fame event will be emceed by Nicole Mihalka, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce chair.

On the work front, Daniel Craig is bringing ‘Macbeth’ back to Broadway next spring. He’ll portray Macbeth, alongside Ruth Negga as his Lady Macbeth.
