Did Daniel Bryan Drop An AEW Reference At WWE Elimination Chamber 2020?
AEW Blood and Guts Will Take Place On March 25th
AEW is holding a special edition of Dynamite on March 25th called Blood & Guts. Funnily enough Blood and Guts was the description Vince McMahon used to describe AEW. Moreover, it looks like some people may have been paying attention. In a WWE.com exclusive interview, Daniel Bryan made a comment that could be interpreted as an AEW reference. Shortly after his victory over Drew Gulak, Daniel Bryan made a Blood and Guts comment that many are linking to the AEW.
Daniel Bryan made the following comment in his interview:
“This is what I love about professional wrestling. I don’t ever want to just go through the motions: I want to fight with my heart, I want to fight with blood and guts. That’s what I wanna fight with!”
This is the clip from the interview:

The little “Blood and Guts” line is what has got everyone talking. This was how WWE owner Vince McMahon had described the up and coming AEW in the aftermath of AEW’s Double Or Nothing. The promo from Daniel Bryan has come hours after AEW announced that The Inner Circle will meet The Elite in the very first Blood and Guts match on 25 March.
AEW announced the match via Twitter, writing “MATCH ANNOUNCEMENT #AEWDynamite: Blood & Guts Newark, NJ|@PruCenter- March 25th! It’s the #InnerCircle vs. #TheElite in your main event! Rules will be announced this Wednesday on Dynamite! Watch #AEWDynamite LIVE every Wednesday night on @TNTDrama 8e/7c. #AEWonTNT
@AEWonTNT”
It will be interesting to see if this story leads anywhere or if it was just a simple remark from the former WWE Champion.
