Cristiano Ronaldo’s son outscores father on Juventus debut
Cristiano Ronaldo’s short-time so far at Juventus hasn’t gone as expected with the goal-machine yet to net his maiden goal for the club in Serie A.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has so far failed to impress in his new club and also lost out to former teammate Luka Modric for the UEFA Player of the Year award. And while he has failed to score a single goal in the season so far, his former club Real Madrid have gone on a scoring spree.
Such is the time that the record Real Madrid goal-scorer and a goal-machine has now been outscored even by his eight-year-old boy.

Ronalso Jr, who plays for Juventus Under-9 scored four goals in the 5-1 win over Lucento on Saturday. Wearing the No.7 jersey like his father, he scored twice across each half to bring the victory.
Cristiano is, however, yet to open his account in the Italian league.
Despite failing to score in the opening two matches including the most recent 2-1 win over Parma, Ronaldo still has his coach Massimiliano Allegri’s support.
“Italian football presents different problems and it takes time. He’s not getting the rub of the green at the moment either – the ball is not bouncing right for him or he’s shooting just off target,” said the Juventus manager following his side’s victory, reported Hindustan Times.
“We’ll all be fresher after the break and that’s when the real season starts. The individual joys will come.”
Man of the Match Blaise Matuidi, who scored one of the goals in the win also spoke in favour of the Portuguese captain. “He (Ronaldo) played a great game, put in a lot of effort, but unfortunately he did not find the net,” “He wants to score and we’ll help him to do so because he’s very important for this team,” said the World Cup winner.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo has been left out of Portugal’s squad for the Nations League and two friendly matches.
