Cristiano Ronaldo to marry girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez: Reports

And despite claims of rape charges against him, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner also looks to be very settled in his personal life.

Now if the rumours are to be believed, Ronaldo is about to take a giant leap in his personal life, which is that the global superstar is set to get married. Yes! You heard that right.
Ronaldo is rumoured to tie the knot with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez very soon. The Portuguese captain has been dating the 24-year-old Spanish model for two years and according to Portugal’s leading newspaper Correio da Manha, he had proposed her to which the answer was a big yes.

The newspaper also claimed that Rodriguez has accepted Cristiano’s proposal and has already started trying wedding dresses. The couple currently stays together and also have a daughter named Alana Martina, born last November.
Cristiano has already asked Gio to marry him! The wedding will take place, but few people know the details. All that is known at the moment is that Gio has already tried on some wedding dresses,” a source reportedly told Correio da Manha.
Georgina met Cristiano in 2009 at a Gucci store in central Madrid, where she worked when the star footballer had come to shop for summer clothes. She has also backed Ronaldo in the 2009 rape charges where he has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a Las Vegas hotel room.
The 24-year-old also sparked engagement rumours when she showed the picture off a stunning £615,000 diamond ring during the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Earlier Ronaldo’s mum spoke about Georgina during an interview with a magazine about the footballer’s life both on and off the field. Talking of her son’s girlfriend she was quoted as saying by Daily Mail that “she is the mother of my grand-daughter. She is a future daughter-in-law. She’s not my daughter-in-law yet. She’s a future daughter-in-law. She’s a very calm person.”
Meanwhile, Ronaldo and Rodriguez were recently in London to celebrate their daughter’s first birthday and they also watched a Tennis match between World No.1 Novak Djokovic and John Isner at the ATP World Tour finals.
The two then went for a romantic dinner in London where they were seen wearing matching rings and that has added more fuel to their wedding rumours.
It is to be noted that Ronaldo now plays for Juventus and has already scored nine goals in 15 matches for them.
