CRED Aims To Source 1 Billion Litre Oxygen As India Deals With COVID-19 crises
India is currently dealing with Coronavirus crises. Ecommerce platform, CRED aims to source 1 billion litre oxygen to aid in the country's fight against the COVID-19 virus
As of by Sunday i.e April 25, India logged in its highest ever single-day spike with more than 3.49 lakh fresh Coronavirus cases. The nation is currently dealing with oxygen as well as vaccine crises. Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Delhi, West Bengal and few other regions have contributed with the highest number of cases towards this second wave. The private business sector has contributed highly to India’s COVID-19 aid. Fintech and e-commerce platform CRED now aims to source one billion litre oxygen to help the hospitals dealing with shortage supply.
The company in partnership with crowdfunding platform Milaap has made the official announcement of its new initiative. Wherein every 10,000 CRED Coins will go towards sending 1,000 litres of oxygen to the hospitals. CRED coins are vanity points that are earned as a reward by CRED users for paying their credit card bills on time.
CRED’s founder, Kunal Shah took to his official Twitter handle and shared about the initiative.
