CoWin Vaccination: Registration For Adults To Begin Today At 4 pm

The second wave of Coronavirus pandemic outspread has hit India so badly, leading the nation to deal with the oxygen and vaccine crises. The outspread has recorded the highest ever surge with the highest single-day spike tallies. Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, Delhi and few other regions have contributed with the highest number of COVID-19 cases. Indian adults can now register themselves to be vaccinated through CoWin website or the Aarogya Setu app. The registration process starts today at 4 pm.

Above 18 years people will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine starting from May 1. In order to get vaccination people first have to register themselves on the official website. India is currently using two COVID-19 vaccines-Covaxin ( developed by Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech) and Covishield (developed by the Oxford-AstraZeneca manufactured by the Serum Institute of India). Also, Sputnik V (developed by Russia) has been green signaled by the government for emergency use only.
