The pandemic Coronavirus outspread in India has recorded a rapid surge over the last few weeks. This resulted in the scarcity of oxygen and vaccine supply across many states. The highest single-day rise has crossed the mark of 3.14 lakh fresh cases as of by Thursday, which is the highest 24 hrs spike ever since the pandemic hit the country. PM Narendra Modi during his address to the nation even confessed about the country being in oxygen crises.
Health Officials and frontline workers are facing challenges as the cases keep rapidly surging. India reported around 3,14,835 new COVID-19 cases, 2,104 deaths and 1,78,841 discharges in the span of last 24 hours, according to the data issued by the Union Health Ministry.

For the unversed, India currently stands at the second position to have been worst hit by the pandemic after the US. The country’s total caseload has hit the mark of 1.59 crore COVID-19 cases and in another grim record, 2,104 Covid deaths were recorded since yesterday.
