Thalapathy Vijay to the rescue of 11 Chennai girls stranded in Thoothukudi amid Coronavirus Lockdown?
South superstar Thalapathy Vijay is quite popular and loved by his fans. The actor is not only known for his acting chops but also for his large-heartedness. The actor has been donating a whopping amount for the COVID-19 Relief fund. He has reportedly also helped 11 Chennai girls stranded in Thoothukudi back home.
As per Indiaglitz reports, 11 Chennai girls were in Thoothukudi for a wedding. But the nationwide lockdown left them stranded in Thootukudi with limited resources. Only one of the 11 women is above 20 and the rest are below 20 years of age. They spent all the money that they had and since have been struggling without food for some days.
They contacted a Fanclub of Thalapathy Vijay, who got in touch with the Kollywood star. Vijay then reportedly asked his fan club members to take care of them and asked them to help them get back to Chennai. Now, the reports about Vijay rescuing the girls are viral on social media. Vijay fans are praising him for his helpful nature.
Vijay has donated a sum of one crore and thirty lakhs to the South Indian governments including Tamil Nadu, Prime Minister Care, and the FEFSI union as COVID 19 relief. He has also deposited rupees five thousand to many fans accounts directly to help them face the coronavirus lockdown.
On the work front, Thalapathy Vijay will be next seen in Master, directed by Kaithi fame Lokesh Kanagaraj. Master also has Vijay Sethupathy, Andrea Jeremiah, and Malavika Mohanan.
