Couple gets engaged at Lord’s during India vs England ODI match

India played against England in the second ODI of the three match series at Lords on Saturday. An unusual but heartwarming incident took place at the home of cricket during the 24th over of England’s innings.

A couple in the crowd grabbed all attention as the guy proposed her in one of the stands. As soon as he proposed, the cameraman got into it and made it even more memorable displaying a message,”Decision Pending”.

She said yes, and the crowd loved it along with the players. Indian bowler, Yuzvendra Chahal who was bowling the 24th over of the match applauded for the couple as they experienced the most colourful moment of their life.

The young couple named Charan Gill and Pavan Bains, made it a memorable occasion for themselves as the boy decided to pop the question from the stands with the help of David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd. Bumble gave the cue to Charan to ask a very important question operating from the commentary box. Once the camera zoomed in on the couple, the man sprung the surprise and the proposal went for a review, ‘Decision Pending’ showed the TV screen as the girl finally burst out laughing before saying yes.

Though, it was not a good day eventually for the Indian cricket team but it was surely a victory for the Indian couple who had come to watch the encounter at the home of cricket.
