After Diwali festivities and amidst the wedding season, Coronavirus cases recorded a surge in numbers nationwide. The government of India on the other side is prepping for the second wave of pandemic after the WHO officials warn middle-east countries. According to the media reports, the nationwide lockdown is on cards due to the increasing number of cases. PM Modi to hold a meeting for all the parties to discuss the pandemic situation.
On Friday i.e. December 4 PM Narendra Modi to discuss the COVID-19 situation. This second all-party meeting comes amid a sudden spike in COVID-19 infections and the meeting will be held virtually at 10.30 am. Top officials of government including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan, Pralhad Joshi are expected to attend this meeting.
PM Modi had conducted several meetings earlier for COVID-19 planning. PM had also addressed the citizens to urge them to follow safety guidelines for the pandemic.
