The pandemic Coronavirus cases have not been contained globally and the numbers recorded a spike on the global infection charts. Amidst the growing COVID-19 cases the state governments have started considering re-lockdown options. The Deputy CM of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar commented on the governments planning for the second wave of the deadly infection.
As per the media reports, Ajit Pawar while addressing a meeting in Pune talked about how few people have started taking the pandemic lightly of late. He highlighted about huge crowd which was observed at market places during Diwali and Ganesh Chaturthi. Talking about the crowd gatherings, he said that the Coronavirus had died under the weight of the crowd.
“There was a huge crowd during Diwali period. Even at the time of Ganesha Chaturthi, we saw crowds. We are speaking to relevant departments. We’ll review the situation for next 8-10 days and then the further decision will be taken about the lockdown,” said Ajit Pawar on re-lockdown plans of MAHA government.
