The pandemic Coronavirus outspread has not been contained as of yet, however, the health officials have been constantly working on developing new vaccines. After the UK reported about the new strain of mutant COVID-19 virus, the flights were temporarily suspended. Now, new cases were reported in India with death toll reaching to 224 per day.
Fresh Coronavirus cases in India were recorded below 20,000 in India on Saturday i.e. January 2. This takes country’s total caseload to 1,03,05,788. Around 19,079 people have apparently tested positive in just a single day and while the total death count has reached to 1,49,218, with 224 new fatalities in a recent single day, according to the ministry’s data.
Maharashtra, the state which has one of the worst-affected by Coronavirus apparently reported 3,524 new cases and 59 deaths in the last 24 hours. There are now 52,084 active cases in the state, the health department informed. According to the latest reports, the Coronavirus vaccine to be now available for free of cost across the country.
