As per the latest reports, the Food and Drug Administration warns that the use of 9 hand sanitizers can be harmed when absorbed by the body.
According to the Methanol Institute, methanol can be poisonous if ingested or absorbed through the skin. “Substantial methanol exposure can result in nausea, vomiting, headache, blurred vision, permanent blindness, seizures, coma, permanent damage to the nervous system or death,” several reports indicates.
