The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has hit the entertainment industry too. Many movies are heading for an OTT release. Bollywood films such as Gulabo Sitabo, Shakuntala Devi have already been released online. They will soon be followed by Laxxmi Bomb, Bhuj, and many more. The latest news is viral on social media, it suggests Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan‘s Coolie No.1 too might follow the OTT route.
The David Dhawan directorial was supposed to release in May 2020. But the ongoing COVID-19 Lockdown had pushed the release to an unknown date. But as per latest rumours the movie might release on Amazon Prime on the occasion of Diwali 2020.
Trade analyst Sohail Khan tweeted, “#CoolieNo1 to release on @PrimeVideoIN !! The streaming giant will announce many bollywood films, regional movies and release dates of many web series including the much-awaited #Mirzapur2 very soon.”

There has been no official confirmation about the same by the makers as yet.
