It’s official finally, Kriti Sanon has joined Prabhas‘ multi-crore magnum opus, Adipurush. The Raabta star took to social media to share the good news with fans this morning. Kriti posted photographs wherein she was captured posing with Prabhas, Adipurush’s director Om Raut and Sunny Singh.
Reportedly, Kriti Sanon will essay the role of Sita, while Prabhas will appear as Lord Rama in this epic drama based on Ramayana. Sunny Singh is playing the role of Lakshman. Saif Ali Khan has been cast in the role of antagonist Lankesh (Raavana).

Om Raut too shared the good news on his social media handle, Welcoming @kritisanon and @mesunnysingh to the #Adipurush family.
In the pictures, Prabhas is seen in a yellow long kurta, while Kriti looked gorgeous in a light pink churidar.
Adipurush is being directed by Bollywood filmmaker Om Raut of Tanaji fame. The film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar under his production house T-Series in association with Rajesh Nair, Retrophiles and Prashant Sutar. Adipurish will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. The movie is eyeing an August 11, 2022 release.
