Indian cricket’s Committee of Administrators (COA) chairman Vinod Rai on Sunday said that a review of the performance would be taken once the India Test team returns from England.
Rai informed that once the team manager submits his report, the COA will take a view of the team’s performance.
“I am not committing anything but there is always a review, once the team manager submits his report, we will take a view on it,” Rai told news agency ANI.

After the South Africa tour, India once again faced disappointment in an overseas series losing 1-3 to England, which has raised questions on the creditability of the team as a visiting team.
Despite gaining the upper hand in many moments across the England series, India failed to make most of it, eventually losing three of the four Tests they played.
While the batting has been disastrous and inconsistent, with only skipper Virat Kohli successfully amassing runs in most of the matches, India’s bowling has also been a matter of concern. The fast bowlers have produced one of the best bowling performances in alien conditions, taking 20 wickets in each of the innings they have bowled in the four matches. But, their inability to dismiss the lower order batsmen, even after knocking off the English top order, has seen the hosts escape from dire situations.
India though won the third Test at Trent Bridge beating England by 193 runs to make it 2-1 in the five-match series. But lost the next Test at Southampton to give up the series.
They are currently into the final and fifth match of the series at The Oval. England made 332 in the first innings, in reply India were bowled out for 292, with Ravindra Jadeja making the highest score with a 86.
