COVID-19 Pandemic: Class 9 and 11 students to be promoted by Maharashtra government

The pandemic Coronavirus outspread has affected the normal working of society for last year in India. Owing to the outspread schools and colleges across the nations have been shut. State governments had opened the physical classrooms to conduct board examinations, however, as the new wave becomes stronger now the states have revised the guidelines. Maharashtra government has decided to promote the students of class 9 and class 11. The decision has been taken to prevent from wasting one year of these students.
According to the latest tweet post by ANI, Maharashtra’s Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad stated to them, that in the wake of pandemic Coronavirus all the state board students of class 9 and 11 will be promoted to a next level classes.

For the unversed, Maharashtra government has also revised the COVID-19 guidelines as the cases keep surging over the last few weeks. The state is among the list of the top contributors in this pandemic wave. Daily night curfews and weekend lockdown(from Friday 8 pm to Monday 8 am) have been imposed across the state in order to curb the outspread.
