2020 has surely been a tough year for all of us. One of the reasons that made us sad that we had bid a goodbye to talented actors such as Irrfan Khan. The superstar breathed his last in the month of April this year, after suffered a colon infection. Reportedly, his health condition got deteriorated because he had already undergone for a rare type of cancer treatment. Christopher Nolan, whose spy thriller ‘Tenet’ is currently running in Indian theaters recalls that he wanted to work with the late superstar.
The ‘Hindi Medium’ actor was also approached by Hollywood director Christopher Nolan for his sci-fi film, ‘Interstellar’ which featured Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway in lead roles. However, Irrfan could not be part of the film due to other work commitments. He was apparently busy with shoot schedules of ‘D-Day’ and ‘The Lunchbox’. As the star was busy doing these two films, he couldn’t make time for his Hollywood project.
Nolan apparently called Irrfan Khan a great actor. As per a report of News18, Nolan recently said, “I did meet Irrfan for Interstellar. I was looking forward to working with him. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to do the film. He was a great actor.”
