Director Karthik Subbaraj on Monday announced that he will be collaborating with Vikram for his next directorial outing. The film also has Vikram’s son Dhruv Vikram as part of the star cast. This is the first time Vikram and Karthik Subbaraj are collaborating for a project.
Taking to Twitter, director Karthik Subbaraj made the news official announcement. He wrote, “Happy to announce that my next directorial after #JagameThandhiram is…. ‘CHIYAAN60’ #Chiyaan60 Starring the awesome Chiyaan Vikram Sir & Dhruv Vikram… And it will be an @anirudhofficial musical.. Produced by @Lalit_SevenScr @7screenstudio (sic).”

Chiyaan 60 will be bankrolled by Lalit Kumar under his home banner Seven Screen Studio. The poster suggests that the film will be a gangster flick involving a father and his son. In the picture, what we see is a man handing over a gun to a small child with blood splattered all over.
It will be the 60th movie in Vikram’s career and for the first time son Dhruv, will be sharing screen space with his superstar father. Dhruv Vikram made his silver screen debut last year with Adithya Varma. It is the Tamil remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy.
Vikram has mythological drama, Mahavir Karna. A spy-thriller Cobra, which is touted to be a supernatural thriller in his kitty.
