Chiranjeevi Sarja's wife Meghana Raj breaks down as she hugs him for the last time
Popular Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja died due to a cardiac arrest on Sunday. He was just 39. His death came as a shock to the Sandalwood Industry. The actor’s last rites were performed at his family’s farmhouse in Kanakapura, on the outskirts of Bengaluru. Top stars of the Kannada film industry like Kiccha Sudeep, Yash, Puneeth Rajkumar, and others came to pay final respects to the actor.

A video is doing the rounds on the internet. It showcases Chiranjeevi’s wife Meghana Raj sobbing uncontrollably as she hugs her husband’s body for the last time. A couple of women are seen trying to pacify the distraught lady. The video is shared by a Kannada news website on YouTube.
The couple had tied the knot in 2018 in a Hindu – Christian ceremony. Meghana is three-months pregnant and the couple was expecting their child by this year-end.

According to reports, Chiranjeevi Sarja complained of breathlessness and severe chest pain on Saturday. On Sunday afternoon, he was rushed to a hospital in an unresponsive state. Reportedly, he suffered a heart attack and could not be revived by doctors.
Chiranjeevi made his acting debut with Vayuputra in 2009. He has starred in films such as Varadhanayaka, Whistle, Chandralekha, Samhaara, Aadyaa, Khaki, Sinnga, and Amma I Love You, among others. He was last seen in Shivarjuna, which hit the theatres in March this year.
