A 3-year-old boy was killed on Saturday after drowning in swimming pool when he was reportedly on a school picnic at a resort in Hyderabad. The father of the child Mohammed Ayaan Azam alleged that it was negligent of the school staff causing his son’s death.
According to reports, the Moinabad police have booked a case against the school staff. N Prakash, the Deputy Commissioner of police, Shamshabad, has said that the school took the children and their families to resort. The incident occurred around 2 pm when the deceased was left unattended.
According to Deccan Chronicle, a senior employee of the school said that she personally knew the deceased and he was an adorable boy. He was not a naughty boy, added the employee. However, the CCTV cameras will be checked by the authorities for further clarification in the case.
According to doctors present at the spot said that the boy was under water over three minutes. Reportedly, the boy’s 30 members were present at the resort from his parents to his grandparents and other relatives.
However, based on the complaint the police have registered a complaint under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
