Confirmed: Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Chhalaang’ to premiere on Amazon Prime on THIS date
Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha starrrer 'Chhalaang' has finally got a release date.
Earlier today, Amazon Prime announced its fresh slate of nine movies that will debut on the platform from October to December which also includes Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha starrer Chhalaang, it was supposed to release on 12th June 2020, however, it got postponed owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, now, the film has FINALLY got a release date and will premiere on November 13.

Confirming the same, Nushrat shared the poster of the film on her social media handle and captioned it as, “Padhai bahut ho gayi, ab waqt hai sports mein ek lambi Chhalaang lagane ka. #WorldPremiereOnPrime #ChhalaangOnPrime, Nov 13, @primevideoin”

Chhalaang is a social black comedy that revolves around the inspirational journey of a Physical Trainer teacher in a semi-government funded school in North India. Rajkummar Rao essays the protagonist, Montu, the casual PT Master who is forced to put everything at stake due to circumstances and end up teaching students, a job he has never tried his hands on before. Montu’s journey, light-heartedly addresses the value of Sports Education in the schools. Nushrat Bharucha plays his love interest. The film also stars Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Saurabh Shukla in a pivotal role.
The movie is directed by Hansal Mehta, produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan, Ankur Garg, and Bhushan Kumar.
