Due to the pandemic Coronavirus outspread in India the exams for 10th and 12th standards got delayed. However, on Thursday, Feb 2 the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) made the big announcement revealing the schedule for the 10th and 12th board examinations. Indian Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriayal as part of his briefing released the schedule for the upcoming exams. He posted the schedule on his official Twitter handle today and wished the students prepping for their respective exams.
Education Minister stated in a statement, “CBSE has released the Date Sheet for both Class-X and XII for Boards examinations-2021. Date Sheet has been released nearly 3 months before so that students can make their study plan and overcome the problems faced during pandemic.”
The examinations for classes 10 and 12 are slated to commence on May 4 and will end on June 10, 2021. The CBSE result 2021 for the respective classes will be declared on July 15.
For the unversed, Class-XII examinations would be conducted in 2 shifts in order to follow the COVID-19 guidelines and this is planned apparently to reduce the days for examinations. Teachers from the first shift would not be attending the second shift owing to the COVID-19 guidelines. The second shift, examinations will be conducted in subjects which are not offered by the students in schools situated abroad.
