A Cuban-American singer, songwriter and actress, Camila Cabello, has dropped yet another fantastic telenovela-inspired music video, a la “Havana,” on Wednesday night. Camila Cabello’s latest music video is titled “Liar.”
Camila Cabello gained worldwide recognition as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, formed on The X Factor (U.S.) in 2012, signing a joint record deal with Syco Music and Epic Records.
The 22-year old singer’s new single also features Zak Steiner and Keiynan Lonsdale. In the track, Camila Cabello is seen taking on a variety of roles in the twisted and dramatic storyline.
The story of Liar begins with Cabello as a woman who is not happy with her fiance, who merely wants her to be a trophy wife. Later, she starts having dreams where she puts herself in inconvenient situations including getting attacked by bugs and burning down the house. She keeps having dreams until it reveals yet another fascinating storyline.
On Wednesday, Cabello had teased the music video and expressed that this was, “Literally most fun video I’ve ever made.”

Camilla debuted with a single titled “Crying in the Club” in 2017 which got 47th position in the US. Later, she refocused her sound to Latin-influenced music. Her debut studio album Camila (2018) debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, with its lead single “Havana” featuring Young Thug topping the charts in several countries, including the UK and the U.S.
Camilla’s second single titled “Never Be the Same” also entered in the 10 in several countries. In June 2019, she released the single “Señorita” with Canadian singer Shawn Mendes; the song reached number one in most European countries, as well as becoming her second single as a lead artist to top the US Billboard Hot 100.
