Miley Cyrus was left devastated as the California Wildfire burnt her house down. In a state of utter grief, she took to her Twitter account and tweeted that she has lost her home to the raging California wildfires.
The Malibu singer also mentioned in her tweet that the house she shared with her fiance, Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, and her pets ‘no longer stands’, but that everyone including the animals were evacuated safely.
She said, “Completely devastated by the fires affecting my community,” Cyrus tweeted to her 40 million followers Sunday. “I am one of the lucky ones. My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that’s all that matters right now. My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong.”
The pop singing sensation went on to thank firefighters and the sheriff’s department and gave information on how to donate and help with relief efforts following wildfires that have so far caused the death of 30 people.
Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus are the latest celebrities to be affected by the fires. Even the likes of Kim Kardashian West, Rainn Wilson and Alyssa Milano were forced to evacuate their homes due to the multiple wildfires raging in both Northern and Southern California.
Meanwhile, Scottish actor Gerard Butler shared a picture on Sunday, of the charred remains of his Malibu mansion that was engulfed by the Woolsey fire.
In June 2009, Miley and Liam first meet on the set of The Last Song, from the movie The Notebook. They made their red carpet debut as a couple at an Oscars event in 2010, confirming the fact the fact that they were dating each other.
