Young Serge Gnabry scored a brace as defending champions Bayern Munich tasted victory for the first time in four Bundesliga matches with a 2-1 win over Werder Bremen on Saturday.
Playing against his former side, 23-year-old Gnabry needed just 20 minutes to open the scoring after seeing side miss a host of opportunities in the early exchanges.
But continuing their trend of conceding every time they have taken the lead, Bayern conceded in the 33rd minute with Yuya Osako overtaking a defender before slotting the ball past Manuel Neuer to bring the game alive for Bremen.

Gnabry, however, added a second for his side just five minutes into the second half after getting to the end of a Thomas Mueller cutback to bring up the victory for Bayern.
Borussia Dortmund extend winning streak
The struggling champions climbed to third in the table with 24 points from 13 games almost nine behind table leaders Borussia Dortmund, who were made to work in their 2-0 win over SC Freiburg at home.
Paco Alcacer continued his goal-scoring streak taking his tally to 10 goals in the league after Dortmund skipper Marco Reus had put them ahead with a 40th-minute penalty.
It was Dortmund’s fourth consecutive league victory keeping them seven points ahead of the second-placed Borussia Monchengladbach, who plays RB Leipzig later in the day.
