Bulbbul is set in the Bengal of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The 2-minute and 30-second trailer begins with a child telling the story of a witch. He reveals that she is living in the trees and has twisted feet.
Directed by Anvita Dutt, the film traverses the journey of a young girl, Bulbbul. It traverses her journey from an innocent girl to a strong woman. The background music in the trailer is gripping. The film looks like a visual treat.
The film, releasing on Netflix, features Avinash Tiwary, Tripti Dimri, Rahul Bose, Parambrata and Paoli Dam in pivotal roles. Bulbul will release on Netflix on 24th June.
