Popular K-Pop group BTS is riding high on the success of their latest single Dynamite. Here is some more good news for the ARMY’ The Bangtan Boys are all set to rock “The Tonight Show” for a whole week straight. Yes, the popular Korean pop group has set a weeklong special with Jimmy Fallon’s show, which will see them deliver a different performance each night.
The “BTS Week” will begin on September 28th, 2020, and give fans five whole nights of BTS content. BTS Week will also see RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook participate in virtual interviews. They are also set to bring their own unique brand of hilarity to The Tonight Show‘s comedy segments. On September 30 the BTS will be the show’s lead guests. So mark the date in your calendar.
Fallon will also join the boys throughout the week for comedy bits and a virtual interview. This is the second collaboration between BTS and Jimmy Fallon. The two had earlier teamed up for a “Tonight Show” special. The group had taken iconic New York locations, including Grand Central Station,to perform their latest chart-topping single ‘Dynamite.’
The video for BTS first English single “Dynamite” broke YouTube records by scoring the most views in 24 hours in the platform’s history. They officially topped 100 million views within a short time graph. “Dynamite” also went on to the first K-pop act ever to top the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks in a row.
